My WordBridge Story
From Losing My Words to Finding My Voice
In February 2024, I had a stroke. I lost my words, but I never lost my desire to communicate.
In April 2024, I began therapy at Barrow. Step by step, I worked to rebuild my communication.
In the summer of 2025, I discovered AI. I practiced for 30 minutes every day and completed my homework. Every small step helped me move forward.
I learned that progress takes time, practice, and patience. One step builds on another.
My journey inspired me to create WordBridge — a way to help people with aphasia practice their words, express themselves, and reconnect with the world around them.
I know how hard it can be to have something to say but struggle to find the words.
I built WordBridge because everyone deserves a voice, a connection, and the chance to be heard.
This is my journey. This is my purpose. And this is just the beginning.
